For the remainder of this week you can catch the awesome Butterfly Magic exhibit at the Tucson Botanical Gardens where hundreds of live, tropical butterflies are on display. Also happening this week at UofA’s Centennial Hall is a visit from the famous Blue Man Group from New York which is an entertaining combination of theater, percussive music, art, science and vaudeville.  Coming up this weekend is the annual Tucson Folk Festival will offer continuous live music on four stages with craft and food vendors, and you can also see the Arizona Symphony Orchestra at UA Crowder’s Hall.  The first weekend in May hosts the annual KFMA Day featuring a plethora of great alternative and rocks bands at Tucson Electric Park.  Beginning mid-month, you can be entertained with Tucson’s new Triple-A baseball team, the Tucson Padres, the affiliate of the San Diego Padres, at Tucson’s Kino Stadium.  Third Thursdays are also hosted by the Botanical Gardens where you can stroll the gardens in the evenings while sipping a cocktail and listening to local talent.  At restaurants all over town you will find Mother’s Day & Cinco De Mayo specials aplenty, and in late may you can stop by Old Tucson Studios during the Memorial Day weekend for a celebration of western music in their Cowboy Music Festival.  These are just a smattering of the goings on here in Tucson, and we are sure you will find something you can thoroughly enjoy.  So go ahead and round up a group of friends, pick an event, and let us do the driving!  For even more ideas check the events calendar at visittucson.org.
